No Holo Error$505.78 rawYou are hereNo Holo error — why it exists. Dark Dragonite 5/82 is a holo rare that went through the press without its holofoil layer. Elite Fourum traces the cause to the sheet it was printed on: the card was mistakenly printed on the uncommon sheet for Team Rocket, so the foil was never applied, and it left the plant looking almost identical to the ordinary non-holo Dark Dragonite #22 in the same set. PSA records the missing foil on both the 1st Edition and Unlimited versions, and the card turned up in Team Rocket peg-hanger packs. This page is the Unlimited print. How to tell: hold it to the light — a flat, foil-free artwork is the error. The card number settles it: the error carries 5/82, while the set’s ordinary non-holo Dark Dragonite is 22/82.
