Double Holo Error$74.20 rawYou are hereDouble Holo Error. An error, not a print run: after Neo Revelation's first release Wizards of the Coast modified the white opaque layer in the printing files — the layer that normally stops the foil showing through — and on affected cards the holofoil bleeds into areas it should not cover, so the card reads as over-foiled (CGC Cards, which recognised the variant on all 16 of the set's holofoils in July 2024; PSA files it as DOUBLE HOLO ERROR on the label). The name is a misnomer — no second foil layer is printed (Elite Fourum) — and Bulbapedia records the variant in both 1st Edition and Unlimited, apparently scarcer in 1st Edition. CGC notes these copies are much rarer than normal holofoils and often carry large premiums. PriceCharting files a market row for seven of the sixteen holofoils, which is why a record exists for this card and not for the other nine. How to tell: the background is all holo, including a portion of the moon, and Crobat's eyes are holo as well.
