Prices for this printing

Each row opens to its sales — dated, venue-labelled, linked where the listing still exists. Raw is our own estimate: the average of the five highest ungraded sales in the last three months, priced from eBay completed listings only — graded slabs from other companies, multi-card lots and reprints are filtered out, and the table under it lists exactly those five with the date each one sold. Vintage raw sales are dominated by played copies, while the near-mint copies people actually grade are the expensive ones. Each graded row averages the sales listed under it. PSA and CGC are priced separately and never averaged together. Every block names the sales it rests on.

Estimated NM price: $290.53 · average of the 4 most recent recorded ungraded sales — the newest is 23 Aug 26, so this card has not sold in the last 3 months: $151.96 (23 Aug 26) · $899.95 (22 May 26) · $43.72 (29 Sep 24) · $66.50 (13 Aug 23).

CGC — the same card graded by CGC. Priced separately from PSA, because the two companies grade to different standards and their prices are never blended.

— No recorded sale in any CGC grade that we can find for this card, so there is no CGC price to show. The category is here rather than hidden, because "no sale yet" and "not tracked" are different answers.

PSA — sold rows graded by PSA, read from the same product page as the raw and CGC rows.

Sources, named per row. Graded PSA rows come from PriceCharting's PSA grade bands — the grader is named in the seller's own listing title, so each row is one sold listing with its date and link, and two kinds of record are left out: sales far below the card's own auction level (counterfeit slabs and mis-listed items carry copied cert numbers, which is how a real PSA 10 Charizard cert appears at $36) and ended fixed-price listings, which are not confirmed sales. Every row links to its own sold listing. Ungraded and CGC rows come from eBay completed listings via PriceCharting: the seller's own title is what removed the other companies' slabs, the multi-card lots and the reprints, and each row links to the eBay item — eBay retires item pages after a few months, so an older row may no longer open.

Both are live searches for this printing, not listings — the prices above are sold comps, and asking prices will differ. eBay links are affiliate links (eBay Partner Network); we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.

Printing

Japanese ANA Promos are mail-in campaign cards, not a set: one printing each, no 1st Edition and no Unlimited run. This card is Promo.

The 1999 ANA card — a different drawing, airliner at the bottom left. The Everyone's Happy first period (1 June to 31 July 1999) mailed this card together with Articuno to every entrant who sent two boarding-pass stubs. It is not a reprint of the 1998 card: the level, the wink, the balloon count and the sky are all different, and the two carry separate prices. It prints no collector number. Where this card fits

Machine-compiled card record. The 1998-2000 cards print no collector number, so the number shown is the Pokédex number the price source files them by; the 2001 pair prints #4/P and #5/P. Prices are PriceCharting sold comps (November 7, 2026) with PSA and CGC kept separate. No structured fact source exists for these campaigns, so rarity, type and illustrator are omitted rather than invented.
